The Milan Veterinary Clinic’s philosophy and goal is to practice the best quality veterinary medicine possible in a clean, thorough, and caring manner while stressing client education and preventative medicine to keep our pets healthy and happy.
Clinic History
Dr. Renee D. Fisher established the Milan Veterinary Clinic in 1991. Dr. Fisher was the valedictorian of Athens Area High School’s class of 1976. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University in 1980 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Dr. Fisher is an associate member of the American Animal Hospital Association, adhering to their strict guidelines in providing the best quality care available to your pet today.
Clinic Staff
Our Competent and Caring Staff Includes:
- Crystal Race
Vet Tech and Office Manager, joined in February 2024. She enjoys gardening and baking. She and her husband have 5 cats and 1 dog.
- Maura Hager
Vet Tech, joined in February 2024. She loves to draw and paint. She has 2 hermit crabs, a dog named Maggie, and a cat named Derby.
- Vespera Meadow (V)
Vet Assistant, Richmond Medical Career and Technical College grad. She has a Silver Lab named Kash and two cats, Bobbie and Anne. Enjoys cattle farming and time with her boyfriend.
